One week ago, we held the first meeting of the Middle TN Death Cafe at The Raven Booklounge in Brentwood.
Death Cafes are designed as informal meetings to discuss any topic related to death and dying in an effort to move past the taboos and stigmas associated with the topic. These events are always free and are open to anyone who is interested in talking about these topics with a group of people who are seeking to understand and explore questions of mortality.
We are going to be arranging meetings every few months with the possibility of other events including potential field trips.
